A view may include one or more neighboring AS
Router model involves incoming routes into a information base influenced by an import policy. This information base provides data from which a forwarding table is derived. The information base can also be used to advertise routes after applying and advertising policy to other routers. The route server provides multiple views (which includes import and export policies) on an AS basis. It must be at least one AS per view (but a view can also include multiple ASes).
The route server can insert an AS for the route server if it is configured to do so. The MED is not changed. NEXT_HOP attribute is not restricted to a subnet common with RS.
The RS is going go add the mechanism Curtis discussed previously. Currently, the RA peering is working at MAE-EAST in a pre-production mode.
