Sponsorship Opportunities for NANOG48
NANOG, the place for every sponsor to participate in a premier opportunity to support the ongoing discussions and operations of the internet. NANOG counts on the support of the community for everything from presentations to loaner equipment and event sponsorship. Your presence as a NANOG sponsor will give you the chance to meet and talk with technology-savvy attendees representing a wide spectrum of networking organizations worldwide. In addition to high visibility at NANOG meetings, contributors are acknowledged on the NANOG website in perpetuity, on the 10,000 plus member NANOG email list, and with public recognition onsite and in presentation form at the opening and closing of the meeting.
- Sponsor a Morning or Afternoon Break (30 minutes)
Financial Contribution: $4,000 (includes 2 complimentary meeting registrations)
Optional - display your product(s) during the break - two engineers from your organization exhibit your product on a tabletop display. Breaks are sponsored by a single vendor or provider. Standard electrical service will be provided.
- Sponsor the Beer 'n Gear Reception (2 hours)
Financial Contribution: $10,000 (includes 2 complimentary meeting registrations)
Optional - display your product(s) at a table staffed by two engineers, meet informally with attendees, and enjoy complimentary drinks and hors d'oeuvres. Eight to ten sponsors can participate in the Beer 'n Gear, pending on room size. In addition, Beer 'n Gear sponsors also receive recognition as the meeting's continental breakfast sponsors. Standard electrical service will be provided.
- Sponsor the Vendor Collaboration Room (3 hours or as negotiated)
Financial Contribution $15,000 (includes 2 complimentary meeting registrations)
Demonstrate use of your equipment or set of products where collaboration with other vendors is required. The room will be provided by NANOG with tables and seating to accommodate the goal of the sponsors participating. Two to Three vendors or providers participate in the 3 hour Sunday and Monday Vendor Collaboration Room, pending on room size. Standard electrical service will be provided.
- Sponsor the Vendor Bake-Off Room (3 hours or as negotiated)
Financial Contribution $15,000 (includes 2 complimentary registrations)
Participate with an opposing vendor who will bring in similar gear (i.e., switches, routers, CMTS, etc.) and access to your gear of the same type. The room will be provided by NANOG with tables and seating to accommodate the goal of the sponsor participating. (Similar to a trade show venue.) Two sponsors can participate in the Vendor Bake-off Room, pending on room size. Standard electrical service will be provided.
- Sponsor the Vendor Trade-Show Room (3 hours or as negotiated)
Financial Contribution $15,000 (includes 2 complimentary registrations)
Display your product(s) at a table staffed by representatives of your choice during an open vendor trade-show session. Representatives from your organization exhibit your products on a tabletop display. Three to four sponsors can participate in the 3 hour Tuesday or Wednesday Vendor Trade-Show. Table space and single 20 amp power circuit per participant will be provided.
Financial Contribution $15,000 (includes 2 complimentary registrations)
- Provide service support and/or financial support
to assist Merit in meeting the service needs at a particular meeting or venue.

Lanyard - Sponsor and NANOG Highlighted @$4000
Survey Motivation Reward - Sponsor can provide or Merit will purchase with Sponsor recognition @$2000
Additional examples: Equipment, Water Bottles, Printing, Food Enhancements
Financial Contribution Varies
- Covering the cost for lunch, dinner, or an offsite social
is also an option. Merit will help promote marketing your event on the NANOG web
and on the meeting agenda for $2,000.

Just as NANOG presentations prohibit material relating to any specific product or service offerings, equipment exhibits are limited to the Sponsor Opportunities endorsed by NANOG. We also urge vendors not to sponsor hospitality suites.
