First Time At NANOG?

Start Here!

Sunday Activities

Welcome to NANOG! Sunday's agenda begins at 1 p.m. with optional tutorials, followed at 5:45 p.m. by the NANOG Community Meeting. At the Community Meeting the NANOG committees report on their activities and the community can ask questions of the chairs and Merit Network, the organization that coordinates NANOG meetings. There will be an offsite social from 7:15-10 p.m. at the Atlanta Aquarium hosted by Telx, the NANOG50 meeting host, and others. Transportation will be provided from the hotel lobby.

Monday-Wednesday Activities

Please plan to attend the Newcomers' Continental Breakfast on Monday at 8:30 a.m. in the Exhibit Hall. Continental breakfast will also be available in the Ellington Foyer. Monday's General Session will start at 9:30 a.m. A copy of the abbreviated meeting agenda is included with your name badge, and a complete agenda can be found at http://nanog.org/meetings/nanog50/agenda.php. Slides for all General Session talks will be linked off the agenda page just prior to each talk. The General Sessions are Monday, 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Tuesday 9 a.m.-4 p.m, and Wednesday from 9 a.m.-noon. There are concurrent breakouts (tutorials and tracks) on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday afternoons. Approximately two weeks following the meeting the recorded presentations will be placed on the meeting website.

Tuesday Evening

From 7-9 p.m. ARIN is hosting a pizza and beer social for all NANOG and ARIN meeting attendees on the terrace in the hotel. From 9 p.m.-midnight ARIN and the Global Peering Forum are sponsoring a social at Lava/Cosmopolitan Lounge, 45 13th Street (transportation to the event will provided, but you will need return on your own).
