NANOG52 in Denver, Colorado - North American Network Operators Group

NANOG52 host: Alcatel-Lucent

Welcome to NANOG52!

On behalf of Alcatel-Lucent, I'd like to take this opportunity to welcome all attendees to NANOG52 in the beautiful Mile High City. Although we've been involved with NANOG for a few years, we are excited to continue our partnership as host of the first NANOG under the new membership and organizational structure. Congratulations to all members of NANOG!

NANOG52 will run from 12-15 June, 2011, at the newly renovated Sheraton Downtown Denver Hotel. Just outside the hotel is the famous 16th Street Pedestrian Mall, featuring endless blocks of restaurants, shops, and entertainment — and supported by a complimentary shuttle that runs constantly up and down the mall.

Make sure you are planning to arrive in time for the Alcatel-Lucent and CoreSite's sponsored social on Sunday June 12th, from 7:30pm until 10:00pm. This promises to be the evening event of the summer, hosted at the nearby Katie Mullen's Irish Pub. Details on themes, gifts and activities will be announced at NANOG52 — don't miss out.

Be sure to also attend the Beer & Gear event on Monday June 13th, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, on-site at the hotel. This is time to socialize with attendees and engineers from sponsoring companies, and to enjoy complimentary wine, beer, and appetizers.

While you are at NANOG52, find time to visit the NOGLab — formerly the Vendor Collaboration Room (VCR) - to see an end-end interoperability test of an IPv6 interim architecture with dual-stack IPv4/IPv6. Located in the Tower Court A room, multiple partners are involved in this live demonstration; and engineers will be on-site to answer questions. View a diagram (pdf) of the NOGLab.

Also, please visit the post-event report from the NANOG50 VCR.

In anticipation,
