NANOG52 IT and Internet
CenturyLink will provide Internet access into the Sheraton Hotel via a GigE fiber link, connected into a CenturyLink CPE in the Sheraton Hotel MDF. The CenturyLink CPE will handoff a 100M VLAN to the co-located NANOG Router in the MDF; via a GigE copper link. The NANOG Router then hands off to NANOG Switches, also co-located in the MDF and spread throughout IDFs in the Sheraton hotel; for connectivity into the end-users: General Session space and Meeting space, Common Areas, the NOC, the NOGLab, and Wireless Access Points (WAP). The CenturyLink PE router in the upstream CO is dual-stack enabled, and therefore supports the IPv4 and IPv6 Internet requirements for NANOG52.
The Sheraton Hotel is allowing NANOG52 to use dedicated fiber and copper throughout the facility.
