MPLS Traffic Engineering extensions
- Protocols carry around TE link information (available bandwidth, link color, etc.) on behalf of MPLS but donÅft use the data themselves
- TE functionality is identical for the two protocols (by design)
- TE functions are IGP-independent, so mechanisms ought to be identical
