Back in Q3 1999, Nextra (Switzerland) deployed a nationwide MPLS VPN service. In Q1 2001, this service was extended to all european Nextra companies (which have their own ASNs) in order to provide a seamless, pan-european MPLS VPN service.
This presentation will discuss some of the ideas behind the service
architecture. There will also be a discussion about lessons
learned when implementing and running a real-life MPLS VPN network.
