A given domain has only only one Area 0
But if there are scaling problems in a domain...
Use multiple domains
- Each with their own Area 0
- Connecting to other OSPF and non-OSPF domains via ASBRs
Use appropriate extensions
- Virtual links
- ASBRs outside Area 0
- NSSAs a powerful new extension
