• Every router interface on a common medium

  • should have the same number of ip address statements
  • Subnets/prefixes should appear in the same order
    • Primary on one should be primary on all
    • First secondary subnet should be first secondary on all, etc.

• Current OSPF and EIGRP

  • Only operate on the primary address
