The North American Network Operators' Group is collaborating to make the Internet better through the coordination and dissemination of technical information related to backbone/enterprise networking technologies and operational practices. Through your generous support, NANOG bridges the technical research staff, the network operators, and the vendor communities.
Donations and Sponsorships play a key role in the continuity of NANOG’s meetings and your participation as either a donor or a sponsor is very much appreciated as it helps the community strive to meet the goals and stay aligned with the mission to provide forums in the North American region for education and sharing of knowledge for the Internet operations community.
Your donations and sponsorship enable NANOG to produce three technical conferences per year which are streamed and archived for future reference. NANOG also maintains mailing-lists providing live fora for the exchange of technical information and the discussion of specific implementation issues that require cooperation among network service providers.

Premium Sponsorship Packages
All premium sponsorship opportunities cover three (3) consecutive meetings and may be purchased in advance of new meeting announcements.
Diamond Sponsorship (3 consecutive meetings) - $75,000
The Diamond Sponsorship offers the sponsor an opportunity for the highest recognition which includes 2 Meeting registration passes per meeting (total of 6 for the duration of the Diamond Partner Sponsorship).
Some of the key benefits include: Use of a conference room, logos displayed on the website and special public recognition. This package includes 10 Points to be allocated in various ways, such as Newcomers’ Breakfast, Power breakfasts, Breaks or additional Meeting registration passes per meeting.
Gold Sponsorship (3 consecutive meetings) - $50,000
The Gold Sponsorship offers the sponsor an opportunity for tremendous presence which includes 2 Meeting registration passes per meeting (total of 6 for the duration of the Gold Partner Sponsorship).
Some of the key benefits include: Use of a conference room, logos displayed on the website and special public recognition. This package includes 6 Points to be allocated in various ways, such as Power breakfasts, Breaks or additional Meeting registration passes per meeting.
Silver Sponsorship (3 consecutive meetings) - $35,000
The Silver Sponsorship offers the sponsor an opportunity for high-level visibility which includes 2 Meeting registration passes per meeting (total of 6 for the duration of the Silver Partner Sponsorship).
Some of the key benefits include: Use of a conference room, logos displayed on the website and special public recognition. This package includes 4 Points to be allocated for additional Meeting registration passes per meeting
Individual Meeting Sponsorship Opportunities
All individual sponsorship opportunities are tied directly to a single meeting. Individual sponsorships are available to reserve after the close of the prior meeting. Please send an email to marketing@nanog.org after the close of the meeting prior if you are interested in a specific Individual Meeting Sponsorship.
Host Sponsorship - $25,000
One of the best ways to be recognized within the Community is to host a NANOG Meeting. The Meeting Host Sponsorship offers the sponsor an opportunity for top visibility highlighted in NANOG collateral during a specific NANOG Meeting. The NANOG Host recognition will continue beyond the meeting through the NANOG website meeting archives, as well as various notable mentions in the future as the NANOG Executive Director or members of the Board will recognize and appreciate these large contributions to the community when addressing the Community. With the Meeting HOST sponsorship, the Host is given an opportunity to address and welcome attendees during the opening remarks. This sponsorship includes 2 Meeting registration passes for that individual meeting.
Some of the benefits include: Use of a conference room, logos splashed on the website and special public recognition. This package includes 10 Points to be allocated for First right-of refusal for the high-visibility branding opportunities such as the NANOG T-shirt and the meeting badge (including the pocket agenda), lanyard or registration bag. These Points can also be used for additional Meeting registration passes per meeting.
Connectivity Sponsorship - [Valued at $12,000]
The connectivity sponsor is recognized as the NANOG Connectivity Partner for the duration of one entire meeting, providing 100 Mbps of bandwidth throughout the NANOG Meeting venue. This Connectivity Partner will be recognized through the NANOG meeting webpage and will be recognized in perpetuity in the meeting archives. This sponsorship includes 2 Meeting registration passes.
Beer 'n Gear Sponsorship - $12,000
Beer 'n Gear has been one of the most popular events to attend, as well as to sponsor at the NANOG Meetings. A sponsor has an opportunity to exhibit their products on a tabletop display, staffed by 2 engineers during a 2 hour reception. Get focused attention with interested attendees, for the opportunity to present various feature-sets or new services. This sponsorship includes 2 Meeting registration passes.
Newcomers Breakfast Sponsorship - $10,000
Newcomers Breakfast Sponsorship offers the sponsor an opportunity for great recognition during a 60 minute breakfast. Sponsorship of the Newcomer’s Breakfast has been a sponsorship that has typically sold out due to the immense popularity to premier or annual sponsors due to the attractiveness of reaching the Newcomers to NANOG. Sponsors have an opportunity to serve a sit-down breakfast that offers a comfortable, warm atmosphere on the Newcomer’s first full-day of the meetings, which is typically Monday. During the Newcomer Breakfast, a short presentation is made by a NANOG Board Member, welcoming the attendee to the meeting and community. During this time, various sponsors are mentioned along with a short general overview of the NANOG meeting format and the various key members of the Committees and community are introduced that Newcomer’s can reach out to for guidance throughout the meeting. This menu varies by each hotel/venue and cost may be adjusted based on the cost of a preferred menu when the request for the information from the sponsor has been made. This sponsorship includes 2 Meeting registration passes.
NOGLab
NANOG is the place for every sponsor to participate in a premier opportunity to support the ongoing discussions and operations of the internet through live IPv6 or 100 GE Demo's and a chance for some hands-on experience. Sponsors will be able to contribute in some different ways as well as benefit from the visibility within the meeting.
Exclusive Branding of NOGLab for Single Meeting - $15,000
Collaborate and work with other technically - advanced engineers and attendees to set up a featured demo that provides for high visibility at the NANOG meeting. This exclusive sponsorship opportunity allows sponsors to have the prime spotlight for the demonstration and allows the sponsor to stand out as one of the key promoters of emerging technologies. This sponsorship includes 3 Meeting registration badges.
NOGLab Joint Technical Participant - Single meeting - $5,000
Participants collaborate in a Joint Technical demonstration using sponsors required equipment onsite and staff the NOGLab during the opening hours providing attendees hands-on exposure to the various sponsors’ equipment.
Power Breakfast Sponsorship - $6,000
Meeting Breakfast Sponsorship offers the sponsor an opportunity for recognition at the beginning of a Meeting day as sponsors exhibit their products on a tabletop display, staffed by two engineers for 1 hour. Sponsors have an opportunity to offer a variety of cold and hot breakfast selections. This sponsorship includes 1 Meeting registration pass.
Break Sponsorship - $5,000
Support the community by sponsoring a break between the various sessions. The Meeting Break Sponsorship offers the sponsor an opportunity for recognition as sponsors exhibit their products on a tabletop display, staffed by two engineers for 30 minutes. There are 6 break sponsorship opportunities with one afternoon break on Sunday, a morning and afternoon break on Monday and Tuesday, and one morning break on Wednesday. This sponsorship includes 1 Meeting registration pass.
Limited Availability Sponsorships Opportunities
Should the Meeting Host decide not to avail the branding of the Social, Registration Bag or the Lanyard and Pocket Agenda, and GiveAways, Diamond Sponsors (10 weekes before the meeting) will be given first right of refusal for some items.
Registration Bag Sponsorship - $6,000
Sponsorship of the Meeting Registration Bag is a fantastic opportunity to be top-of-mind for the attendees as they pick up their registration badges for the NANOG meeting. The Meeting Registration Bag provides an area for a company logo, along with the NANOG logo, and is provided to all NANOG Meeting attendees. The Meeting Host will have first right of refusal for this particular sponsorship. This sponsorship includes 1 Meeting registration pass.
Lanyard and Pocket Agenda Sponsorship - $6,000
The Meeting Lanyard and Badge Sponsorship provides an opportunity to place a company logo, along with the NANOG logo on the the meeting Lanyard and Pocket Agenda. This badge is distributed to all NANOG attendees. The Meeting Host will have first right of refusal for this particular sponsorship.
Attendee Gift Sponsorship - [Valued at $15,000]
Sponsorship of the Attendee gift is a fantastic opportunity to be top-of-mind for the attendees as they pick up their badges for the NANOG meeting. This sponsorship is based upon availability. The Meeting Host of the Event/Meeting will have first right of refusal. The retail value of the Attendee gift should have a min of $25 per item (600*$25 = $15000)
Member Gift Sponsorship - [Valued at $4,000]
Sponsorship of the Members gift. This sponsorship is based upon availability. The Meeting Host of the Event/Meeting will have first right of refusal. Value is 200 attendees *$20= $4,000.
Survey Giveaway Sponsorship - [Valued at $1,500]
Sponsorship of Survey Giveaways. Surveys are collected electronically throughout the meeting and the drawings take place Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in the General Session. The Sponsorship offers numerous mentions and announcements throughout meetings for increased visibility for the Sponsor. The retail value of the Survey Giveaway should have a retail value of $500 per item (3*$500 = $1500).
NOGLab Survey Giveaway Sponsorship - [Valued at $1,500]
NOGLab Surveys allows the various vendors and NANOG to get feedback from the NOGLab visitors with regards to the quality of the demo to help shape future NOGLab topics and demonstrations. Surveys are collected electronically throughout the meeting and the drawings take place Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in the NOGLab. The Sponsorship offers numerous mentions and announcements throughout meetings for increased visibility for the Sponsor. The retail value of the Survey Giveaway should have a retail value of $500 per item (3*$500 = $1500).
Social Recognition - [Valued at $500]
Sponsors have the opportunity of organizing an off-site or on-site social for the NANOG attendees. This contribution to NANOG can insure their hosted social event will be officially supported by NANOG and recognized on the Meeting agenda and highlights page on the website. This fee will be waived for Meeting Hosts and has the first right of refusal for their choice of day. Premier Sponsors may have the opportunity of having this waived, but will be conditional. *Please note - the Sponsor is responsible for costs and planning of social. Site selection must be approved by NANOG in advance and social must be open to all NANOG attendees.
