Patrick Gilmore is Founder and Special Board Advisor at Deep Edge Technologies, an Internet infrastructure ecosystem provider. Previously, Patrick was VP of Marketplace Services at Addrex, the oldest and largest marketplace for IPv4 address transfers. Prior to that, Patrick was Chief Technology Officer at Markley Group, responsible for Markley’s Infrastructure as a Service offerings. Before that, Patrick was Chief Network Architect of Akamai Technologies, where he worked for over 13 years. At Akamai, Patrick’s group was responsible for managing peering and capacity for the world’s largest CDN, one that served approximately 25% of all traffic on the Internet. In addition to NANOG, Patrick is currently on the Board of Directors for the Seattle Internet Exchange (SIX) and the PeeringDB. Patrick was previously a member of the Board for the American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN), and the London Internet Exchange (LINX), and the Seattle Internet Exchange (SIX).
