NANOG 84 Meeting Guidelines

Your health and safety is very important to us and NANOG is ready to host everyone safely in Austin. We will require that everyone attending NANOG 84 be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 no later than January 31, 2022.  You are considered fully vaccinated at least 2 weeks after the final dose in either a 2 dose vaccine series (Pfizer, Moderna or AstraZeneca) or the single dose series (Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen) vaccine. If you do not meet these requirements, you are not fully vaccinated and we request that you join us for NANOG 84 virtually. There will be no exceptions.

Onsite Process

  • All onsite attendees will be required to validate your vaccination status by providing your vaccination record (photo copies accepted) + I.D upon check-in. Please note, QR codes will not be accepted at this time.
  • Daily temperature checks will be performed
  • All hotel staff will be required to wear masks for the duration of the conference
  • We recommend that all of our in person registrants wear masks while attending the NANOG conference.

Those of you that feel uncomfortable traveling to Austin and have already paid for the in-person experience are welcomed to modify your meeting registration to the virtual option with no penalty. If onsite and you become feverish or develop a cough, please stay in your room and notify [email protected] to report your illness and seek medical attention.
