Thanks to everyone who joined us for NANOG's 47th meeting. It was held at the Hyatt Regency in Dearborn, Michigan—a Detroit suburb that is home to Ford Motor Company's headquarters and Greenfield Village. NANOG 47 took place from October 18-21, 2009.

This was NANOG's sixth meeting in Michigan, which is home to the NANOG 47's co-hosts—Arbor Networks and Merit Network

This was also NANOG's seventh back-to-back meeting with ARIN, the American Registry for Internet Numbers. NANOG met Sunday-Wednesday (Oct. 18-21) and ARIN Wednesday-Friday (Oct. 21-23). While both groups maintain their separate agendas, there was a joint program on Wednesday morning from 9-10:30 a.m.

NANOG and ARIN meetings are a great opportunity for both communities to benefit from the technical and operational expertise of their colleagues, keep up on all the latest technical issues facing the network operator community, and contribute to Internet number resource policy discussions and development.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for NANOG 47!
